Inside Story discusses the life sentence handed down to Joseph Estrada, the former Philippines president, and the wider phenomenon of corruption in third world leaders.
How have corruption allegations or accusations have been perverted to confront political opponents or opposition parties? Why do some leaders consider themselves above the law?
