Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s first visit to the White House since he took office was widely criticised in Pakistan.
Many online said that Sharif was not firm in his demand to end US drone strikes, analysing what critics said was a weak position in front of his American counterpart. Twitter users poked fun at the Prime Minister using #NoAwazSharif (“No Voice Sharif”), a play on Sharif’s first name.
