Theresa May pushes for trade negotiations in Brexit talks

The British prime minister has told European Union leaders in Brussels that they do not need to worry about the UK’s financial obligations to Brexit.

She sought to expand talks to include trade, but other leaders wanted more progress on EU citizens’ rights and the border with Northern Ireland.
