Will lifting sanctions mean a new era for Iran?
After 36 years of mistrust and hostility, Iran and the West appear to be developing something of a new relationship.
A framework on the future of Iran’s nuclear capabilities has been agreed upon.
And if implemented, sanctions that have crippled Iran’s economy are likely to be eventually scrapped.
Some hard-liners say the framework favoured the west – and was a disaster for Iran.
But Iran’s Foreign Minister says it was a win-win situation for both sides.
So, is Iran on track to be a superpower in the region?
And how will it affect the delicate balance of power in the Middle East?
