Afghanistan drug addiction on the rise as conflict continues

Drug addiction in Afghanistan is an issue often overshadowed by the years of armed conflict in the country.

In the 20 years following the United States invasion, the number of addicts has risen.

Now some members of the Taliban have stepped in to provide rehab services, but that comes with its own cost.
