More talks with Mexico on migrant tide before US tariffs imposed

Emergency talks continue on Thursday in Washington, where Mexican officials are trying to stop a 5 percent tariff.

A Mexican delegation will hold more talks in Washington on Thursday to resolve a dispute over irregular migration into the United States.

President Donald Trump is threatening to impose tariffs on Mexico unless it stops the undocumented migrant flow, as talks on Wednesday ended without a deal.

However, Congressional Republicans are not siding with Trump on his plans.
