Mueller: Gates associate had Russian spy links
Rick Gates, former campaign official for US president had repeated communications during final weeks of 2016 presidential race with a business associate who was a former Russian intelligence officer, documents say.
Prosecutors in the United States say they are about to show links between Donald Trump‘s campaign for the presidency and Russia.
Four people have so far pleaded guilty as a result of the investigation led by Special Counsel Robert Mueller, and one of them Gates’ associate, Alex van der Zwaan, is due to be sentenced.
