Trump’s anti-immigrant crackdown takes economic toll

The US government says it has arrested 41,000 undocumented immigrants in the 100 days since President Donald Trump ordered a stepped-up crackdown.

That is an increase of 37.6 percent over the same period in 2016.

As a candidate, Trump promised to deport all immigrants in the country illegally.

But the policy is already taking an economic toll in the US.
