A public health report says sugar hidden in packaged foods is contributing to a global health crisis.

Health Researchers in a new Lancet report say that 74 percent of packaged food and drinks in the United States have added sweeteners.

The WHO has updated its guidelines this year to recommend people cap their sugar intake to five percent of their diets – not including sugars naturally found in fruit, vegetables or milk.
