Hezbollah launches major ground offensive on Syria-Lebanon border

Hezbollah and the Syrian army have launched a major ground offensive in the border area between Syria and Lebanon.

Jaroud Arsal is a barren region along the Qalamoun mountain range where a number of armed groups with competing interests have had a presence for years.
