Tensions high at Pak-Afghan border after deadly clashes

Fighting on the border between Pakistan and Afghanistan has claimed at least 11 lives and injured more than 40. Pakistan is accusing Afghans of unprovoked attacks on a string of villages which both countries claim as their own.

    Pakistan is accusing Afghans of unprovoked attacks on a string of villages which both countries claim as their own.

    The border has been closed after the clashes erupted and transport has come to a standstill.
