Palestinians hold sit-in over plan to demolish Khan al-Ahmar

Protest comes as European countries made plea to Israel, asking it to not destroy the occupied West Bank village.

Five European countries have made a last-ditch appeal to Israel, asking it not go to ahead with the demolition of a Bedouin village in the occupied West Bank.

The plan to destroy Khan al-Ahmar, home to 200 people, has drawn international criticism.

Palestinian activists are holding a sit-in to try to save the village.
