
Qatar to introduce minimum wage for labour workers
The UN’s International Labour Organisation has closed a complaint over the treatment of migrant workers in Qatar.

That came after Doha said it would introduce a minimum wage and allow its labour practices to be monitored by trained inspectors.
It is now expected that Qatar will sign a bilateral agreement with the UN protecting labourers, making it the first Gulf country to do so.
