China’s Xi arrives in Athens to ‘deepen cooperation’ with Greece
Chinese president arrives in Greece on an official visit meant to deepen cooperation on economic ties between the two countries.
China’s president has arrived in Athens for a three-day visit to discuss bilateral relations, investment and trade.
Xi Jinping will also go to Piraeus, the Mediterranean port controlled by China’s state-owned shipping company Cosco.
It is estimated that 10 percent of China’s exports to Europe go through Piraeus.
