Theresa May makes her last address as UK prime minister

She will officially tender her resignation to the queen.

    The United Kingdom Prime Minister, Theresa May, has delivered a farewell speech in Downing Street before submitting her resignation to Queen Elizabeth II.

    She wished Boris Johnson, the next prime minister, and his upcoming government well.
