Hussam Zomlot reacts to US decision to close PLO office in DC

The closure of the diplomatic office in Washington appears to be another attempt to force the Palestinians into negotiations spearheaded by the US president’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner.

The United States is continuing to pressure the Palestinian leadership to engage in US-led talks with Israel and Donald Trump’s much-touted “deal of the century”.

The latest development is that the US government has decided to close the PLO’s diplomatic office in Washington.
