A controversial North Korean general and the daughter of US President Donald Trump have attended the closing ceremony of the Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang.


    A controversial North Korean General attending the closing of the Winter Olympics in South Korea, has suggested his country is willing to hold talks with the United States.

    At the ceremony, General Kim Yong-chol sat just metres from US President Donald Trump's daughter Ivanka, in the final piece of the games-led diplomacy that has dominated headlines from Pyeongchang.
