Proof of Syria’s chemical weapons use sketchy
US politicians are questioning evidence put forth by intelligence services implicating Assad’s forces in the attack.

For weeks, the White House has been making the case that US intelligence proves Syria’s President Bashar al-Assad is responsible for the deadly chemical weapons attack on August 21, on the outskirts of the capital, Damascus.
But more politicians are questioning that intelligence and the government’s motive for military strikes.
