- Darwin Nunez gave Liverpool a 1-0 lead in the 17th minute before the Blades equalised through an own goal by Conor Bradley in the 58th minute. But the Reds regained the lead through a spectacular Alexis Mac Allister strike in the 76th minute, and Cody Gakpo then sealed the victory with a late header.
- Liverpool are top with 70 points, Arsenal are second on 68, while defending champions Manchester City sit third on 67 – with all three title contenders having played 30 games.
- Bottom-placed Sheffield United remain 10 points from safety, albeit with a game in hand on 17th-placed Nottingham Forest.
