Indonesia wants to criminalise same-sex relations

The UN High Commissioner for Human Rights has urged Indonesians to not move backwards on human rights.

In Indonesia, proposals to criminalise same-sex relations have come under criticism from the UN human rights chief.

Zeid bin Ra'ad Al Hussein says he has raised the issue with Indonesian President Joko Widodo during a visit to the world's largest Muslim-majority country.
