The explosion killed at least 230 people and injured nearly 200 others.
Funerals have been held for victims of the blast, which tore through a village and reduced a market to ashes. Most were buried in two mass graves.
Al Jazeera’s Malcolm Webb reports from the scene of the disaster near the village of Sange in south Kivu province.
