Thousands of people from abroad have tried to improve the lives of Haitians after a massive earthquake struck on January 12, killing 300,000 people.

One of them is Skyler Badenoch, who works for Build On, a US organisation that builds schools across the globe.

He arrived in Haiti a day before the quake struck, and has since returned many times.

Through his photography he tells Al Jazeera about the situation then, and now.
