Pinera was given a timely reminder of the task ahead as he was sworn in: moments before his inauguration, Chile was rattled by the largest aftershock since last month’s earthquake.
Lucia Newman, Al Jazeera’s Latin America editor, reports from Santiago, where Pinera has vowed to rebuild the country “stone by stone, brick by brick”.
