Qatar has welcomed the French top diplomat, Jean-Yves Le Drian, as talks over the ongoing Gulf crisis continue.

    Qatar has welcomed the French top diplomat, Jean-Yves Le Drian, as talks over the ongoing Gulf crisis continue.

    He will be heading to Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates next as part of an effort to ease tensions in the Gulf.

    Al Jazeera's Imran Khan reports from Doha.
