US says Trump ‘committed to resolving’ Gulf diplomatic crisis

The US military says flights out of its airbase in Qatar will not be affected by the regional diplomatic crisis.

It has praised the Gulf state for its commitment to regional security.

And the White House says US President Trump wants to help sort out the diplomatic rift.
