But as the vote draws closer, several Republican senators continue to express doubts about Donald Trump’s alternative measure, under which millions of Americans would lose health insurance and many with severe diseases could die.

 

Bernie Sanders, the Democratic senator who ran for the White House in 2016, says 23 million would lose health insurance under Trump’s healthcare bill.
