Rappler CEO Maria Ressa: ‘We are going to fight back’

Maria Ressa, who runs the news website, Rappler, has been sentenced to at least six months in jail for “cyber libel”. She says she will appeal the controversial ruling.

One of the Philippines’ most prominent journalists, Ressa has been found guilty in a case seen as a major blow to press freedom.
