Hong Kong’s religious leaders have joined protesters in criticising a controversial proposed extradition law that would send suspects to mainland China for trial.

The proposed law has been shelved for now but many want it scrapped entirely.

Religious leaders say the government must mend its damaged relationship with the youth.
