Yearning for the flavours of home: Syrian refugees’ Eid in Turkey
About 20,000 Syrians are reported to have returned home for the holidays but many simply can not do that.
Muslims around the world are celebrating the festival of Eid al-Adha, many will be spending it with family and friends.
But for Syrian refugees in Turkey, only a few will be able to go home for the holidays.
Al Jazeera’s Sonia Gallego reports from Istanbul on how they are commemorating the event.
