Kennedy family divided over conviction of RFK’s murderer

Fifty years on, questions about Sirhan Sirhan’s alleged role in Robert F Kennedy’s assassination remain unanswered.

A young Palestinian man with Jordanian citizenship was convicted of killing US Senator Robert Kennedy in 1969.

But, 50 years later, many questions about Sirhan Sirhan’s conviction remain unanswered.

Kennedy’s son and sister support reopening the investigation into the assassination, while other members of the family oppose the idea.
