Half a century ago, US Senator Robert F Kennedy was shot minutes after he had given a speech at the Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles; he died the next day.
Today, many people remain convinced that the unique political talents of Kennedy, a progressive icon who was running for the presidency when he was assassinated, would have made him one of the US’ great leaders.
