UK given two-week ultimatum to make Brexit concessions

The EU’s chief Brexit negotiator has given the UK a two-week ultimatum to make concessions on a divorce agreement if talks are to proceed to the next round.

Michel Barnier says it is vital for the UK to increase its offer on an exit bill. Some EU officials say the offer could be as much as $70bn.
