Republicans open to banning bump stocks after Las Vegas shooting

Some Republicans are considering backing a push by the Democrats to ban devices known as bump stocks.

They are used to make guns fire more rapidly.

Twelve of the 23 guns found in the Las Vegas gunman’s room had bump stocks attached to them.
