Over 40 US states resist election probe by White House commission

More than 40 US states are refusing to hand over data on millions of voters to a White House commission investigating alleged electoral fraud.

Opponents say it is trying to justify President Donald Trump’s unfounded claims that five million fraudulent votes were cast in the 2016 election.
