    Single-use plastic bags are now banned in Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia, one of the world's biggest contributors to plastic pollution.

    Increased online shopping and takeaway food during the pandemic have added to the mountain of waste.

     

    And, as Al Jazeera's Jessica Washington reports, landfills are now almost full.
