Coronavirus: Hong Kong intensifies checks on travellers

From Saturday, all travellers crossing from the mainland to the city will be quarantined for 14 days.

A growing number of countries are closing their borders to travellers from China, as the death toll from coronavirus infection rises to 563.

Two cruise ships – one in Japan and the other in Hong Kong – are also in quarantine after passengers were found to be infected by the virus.
