Despite Iraq’s president saying he would hold early elections, large crowds of protesters gathered in central Baghdad once again on Thursday night.

They are fed up with years of war and political turmoil that has resulted in widespread joblessness and poor services.

More than 200 people have been killed in a month of violent anti-government protests.
