US-China trade war: Hi-tech push before summit

Could a trade war turn into a technology war, as the US tries to contain China's hi-tech developments?

    High-level trade talks are expected between China and the US on Friday. Negotiators are trying to finalise the first phase of a deal in time for a summit in Chile next month. China has said it wants to be a world leader in technology but rights groups have accused it of using tech companies to target its citizens.
