Alberto Fernandez expected to dethrone Argentina President Macri

Argentina’s presidential election on Sunday is expected to swing power back to the Peronist opposition following four years of business-friendly reformer Mauricio Macri.

Presidential candidates in Argentina have held their final rallies ahead of Sunday’s election.

Overall support for President Mauricio Macri has fallen amid economic turmoil.

He is facing strong competition from opposition leader Alberto Fernandez, whose running mate is former President Cristina Kirchner, who has been trying to convince voters that he has the right plan to reboot the country’s ailing economy.
