Philippine court case: Opposition denies plot against government

The government has accused more than 30 people of committing acts of sedition – inciting people to rebel against it – and other criminal offenses.

The Philippine government is accusing the opposition and its supporters of plotting to overthrow President Rodrigo Duterte.

Dozens of people have been taken before the courts, where they have denied the allegations.
