The International Press Institute celebrates the hard work and resilience of journalists while condemning state and non-state actors targeting members of the media, including Egypt's imprisonment of Mahmoud Hussein.

    Journalists from across the world are demanding an end to killings, arbitrary arrests and detentions of their colleagues.

    It comes as the International Press Institute raises concern over the rise in the deliberate targeting of individuals and media organisations.
