Hamas under pressure after Gaza protests fail to bring change

Protests near the Gaza border fence that left more than 100 people dead have brought no relief from Israel’s 11-year siege.

After eight weeks of protests in Gaza, Palestinians have not won any concessions from Israel to improve living conditions. That is leading to internal pressure on Hamas as the 11-year-long blockade on Gaza continues to exacerbate the suffering of many Palestinians.
