Zimbabwe cricket team closing in on a world cup place

Zimbabwe have made it to the final six teams vying for the two last spots in the 2019 Cricket World Cup.

Zimbabwe's cricket team is looking good for a place at next year's world cup in England.

The team are top of the final qualifying group after a win over Ireland on Friday.

Years of economic and political turmoil in Zimbabwe have affected participation levels in the sport.

But as Al Jazeera's Haru Mutasa reports, the game is now making a comeback.
