There has been a new wave of anti-government protests in Togo. Demonstrators are calling for an overhaul of the political system and an end to the ruling family who has been in power for 50 years.

    There has been a new wave of anti-government protests in Togo. Demonstrators are calling for an overhaul of the political system and an end to the ruling family who has been in power for 50 years.

    But the president is showing little interest in vacating his seat after 16 people were killed in protests that began three months ago.
