US recovers missing diary of Hitler’s adviser

Handwritten pages from key Nazi confidant Alfred Rosenberg expected to shed “new insight” into Hitler’s inner circle.

The Washington-based holocaust museum will soon own the handwritten diary of one of Adolf Hitler’s close confidants.

Alfred Rosenberg was a major intellectual influence on the Nazi party.

As Al Jazeera’s Alan Fisher reports, the diary could help historians better understand events of the holocaust.
