Sudan’s opposition leader calls for change

Call comes after pro-democracy protests which have been losing momentum.

Hassan al-Turabi, one of Sudan’s main opposition leaders, says there needs to be a plan for the eventual overthrow of President Omar al-Bashir.

The country saw a glimpse of pro-democracy protests in June, but that seemed to have lost momentum.

Al Jazeera’s Sherine Tadros has this report from the Sudanese capital.
