Malaysian police have clashed with thousands of protesters calling for an overhaul of the country’s electoral system.

Security forces fired tear gas and water cannon at demonstrators in the capital Kuala Lumpur.

Al Jazeera’s Harry Fawcett, reporting from the city using the Skype for iPad application, after Malaysian police “busted” his crew’s camera, shares his first-hand account of the police’s actions.
