Art heist baffles Dutch police

Detectives in Rotterdam search for clues after one of the biggest art thefts in recent history.

An art theft in Rotterdam has baffled Dutch detectives, driving them to appeal to the public for help in finding the thieves who stole a priceless collection of works by Picasso, Matisse and Monet.

The priceless collection of works had been on show to celebrate the Kunsthal Museum’s 20th anniversary, until thieves managed to escape with seven paintings worth millions of dollars.
