Zimbabwe inflation: Gov’t trying to head off mass strikes

Zimbabwe is going to raise public sector pay for the second time in three months, after labour groups threatened mass protests.

Inflation is running close to 100 percent, as the country struggles with shortages of bread, fuel and medicine.
