Having already fled a separatist conflict in the south, Philippine sea gypsies, known locally as the Badjao, are now facing eviction from their homes, to make way for new waterfront housing.
Supporters of the development say the sea gypsies will benefit from the move, but opponents say the developers are simply motivated by profit.
